This year’s Indianapolis Race for the Cure event was a huge success with over 40,000 participants. The Hunt Construction Group team represented once again with 135 team members and $3,773 in donations.

Donations are still being accepted for the Central Indiana Affiliate and you can always donate to the National Susan G. Komen Foundation as well. Hunt has participated in this race for years and once again took home the “Spirit Award” for collecting $1,200 in donations on race day.

If you have not participated in a Race for the Cure event, be sure to check out the photos to see what you are missing. It is a great way to support an important cause, get together with your community and give hope and encouragement for those whose lives have been changed by cancer.

Next year’s race will be held on April 16, 2011.
